Viewing images/video on Oculus and durovis ‪‎dive

Postby kh2iy » 03 Dec 2014, 13:25

Has anyone been successful at rendering the 360 photo / video on an Oculus or a Durovis ‪‎Dive headset accessory for SmartPhones ?
The Kolor AutoPano software exports in a format that renders well on these devices...

However, I'm trying to view the format that comes native, out of the Theta, directly on the Oculus.

Any ideas ?

I am using LiveViewRift and Whirligig, Whirligig seems to be smoother.

It also works great on the gearVR native in the 360 video app.

Are the videos clear? I'm just using native file, converted by Theta application on PC and then loading onto Galaxy S6 Edge+, and then viewing with GearVR Oculus Video app. Closer objects are somewhat focus, however anything further than 15 feet away are blurry.

These other apps, are they sharp?
