Attribution of IP?

Postby benjaminbouachour » 04 Dec 2014, 15:03

Hi,

How work the attribution of IP address in local network? I mean if I buy multiple camera, will camera have 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2? If there is no DHCP but static IP which have to be attributed from an administator?

You misunderstand the concept.
your Theta is creating a new Network where you can login with your mobile device. The theta is not able to login into an existing Network.

enjoy

It's the other way round.

The Ricoh is the DHCP server, not the DHCP client.
Your phone is the DHCP client.

I believe only one phone can connect to the Ricoh Theta at a time (but I haven't verified this).
