how to annotate objects in 360 Theta image

Postby emolamol » 13 Jan 2016, 20:04

Hi,

Just today I purchased the Theta 360 camera. Images are awesome!

We are creating a VR application in which we want to annotate different objects in the image. E.g. Chair, TV etc. These annotations with image needs to be stored in database. When a user using a VR headset looks at a object in 360 then corresponding annotated text should pop-up. Do you know how we can achieve that with Theta image? Your help will be really appreciated.

Thanks
Amol

Maybe you can cooperate with these guys at HoloBuilder?

I'm curious to learn more about your project and if it can use an existing application or if you need to build your own application

There's more information on the HoloBuilder Site.

Look very interesting and something I'm working on (well starting to) re mixed AR/VR.

I currently have the app setup for VR viewing dynamically loaded photos and video from the Theta s and the next step was to add annotations to the content ...
