Image download time.

Postby IonRod » 28 May 2015, 08:53

Hello!
I've made an app for Android which uses Ricoh SDK. I need to download full resolutions images from the camera but it takes near 10 seconds to complete so to download 20 images you have to spent 3 minutes.

Is it possible to download images faster?

What SDK call are you using for the full resolution download?
Are you using this:
Code: Select all
int resizedWidth = 3584;
int resizedHeight = 1792;
PtpObject resizedImageObject = camera.getResizedImageObject(
                                   objectHandle, resizedWidth, resizedHeight)

Nope, I'm using this:
byte[] data = camera.getObject(objectHandle);

According to SDK I can resize only to 2048x1024, but I need full resolution image:

Anyway thx for an answer, I'll try it.
