Theta V Battery leakage - losing power

Postby RachelAnnSarratt » 20 Feb 2018, 10:18

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?
I am now on my second new Theta V and both devices have had the same problem.
They lose power when not switched on. I have charged them using the power lead provided as described in the user guide. With the latest one, when I check the following day it has already lost 10% of its charge.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

RachelAnnSarratt,

Are you powering down the V or maybe you are just putting it in Sleep Mode? Sleep Mode is not completely off and still uses battery.

Press and hold power button quickly for Sleep Mode. Press and hold power button for approx 3 seconds to Power off the camera.

Hi Jesse, you are a star.
Thank you, I do feel like a fool , you were spot on I had only been putting it to sleep instead of holding the power button and switching it off completely.

It makes me wonder if the one that was replaced really did have a faulty battery :?
