Extract accelerometer info from video

Postby MarcoEsposito » 08 Jul 2016, 16:07

Hello everybody and thanks in advance for your help.
I'm currently working on a research project using theta s camera.

I have to implement myself the top/bottom correction for horizon stability (as well as the provided software does in the equirectangular conversion), so i need to extract proper information frame by frame to process the output of the camera.
After some googling i found out this info should be stored in the "accelerometer" metadata tag.

My question is, is there a tool or API to extract this information? All i found so far doesn't allow to get this on a frame-by-frame basis, just global information about the video (eg. CreationDate and so on).

Help!
