Postby maxfanderl » 23 Mar 2015, 22:43

Or any suggestions in how to show the panoramic view within a webpage.

Thanks

Hi Guys,
Garden Gnome Software has created a plugin for Wordpress. This works with Pano2VR 4 & 5's GGPKG (package) output. Here is the how to link.
Wordpress has a file size restriction so here is a neat little way of getting around it, LINK.

I used Cardboard briefly and recently switched to WP Photo Sphere.
Click on the "Add a panorama" button and upload your photo sphere. Shortcode in text view will look like this: [sphere 456].
I didn't like the link above the image so I removed the text along with the background color #3D3D3D.
I changed the default height from 315px to 900px and the minimal field of view from 30 to 60 degrees.
Also checked the box to "Automatically load panoramas"

If you upload to panoroo.com. You will not need any special plugin or buy special software.
1. Upload the jpg file in your theta to panoroo.com
2. Multiple ones if you want to create a tour of a place
3. Grab teh embed and paste it as HTML into your page or blog!

Changing the upload size limit in cPanel is much easier than using a WP plugin or modifying your php.ini or .htaccess.
Go to Software > Select PHP Version > Switch to PHP Options > upload_max_filesize
Select the size from the drop down menu.
    Click Apply and Save.

Hello!
I don't really understand WordPress. As for me, there are platforms with more convenient functionality. but I advise you to try PrestaShop modules https://myprestamodules.com/. I use them for 4 months. Very easy to use software.
